For the last 21 years of my life, I have been able to live a very good life doing what I love.
I’ve been able to live a comfortable lifestyle, raise a family, and generally do what I’ve wanted to do – all because of Steve Jobs and the innovations he brought forward.
I remember being attracted to NeXT computers in 1990. Not because Steve Jobs built the company (I didn’t know who he was back then), but because of what they did and the innovations they put forward.
The iPad did the same to a new generation.
No other human being has impacted the modern world as much as Steve Jobs has.
We, the people who make a living making based on Apple products, didn’t become fans of Steve Jobs because of his salesmanship or charisma – we became fans because he changed the world. And more importantly, he changed the world many times.
Rest in Peace. We will sorely miss you.
