We’ve just released Daylite 6.1 for the iPhone and iPad. This update adds support for Multitasking on iPad so you can work in Daylite and another app at the same time.
Compare info with Split View
Split View allows you to work side-by-side in two apps on your iPad. While sitting in a coffee shop on your iPad, you’ll be able to do research in Safari and have Daylite open at the same time to jot down notes linked to the project or client. This helps you make sure all the critical details are captured in Daylite and linked to what’s important.
You’ll also be able to check your list of people you need to follow up with in Daylite, at the same time you open Mail and write follow up emails.
Peek into another app with Slide Over
Slide Over allows you to quickly peek into a second app while you’re working. This makes it easy to check details or quickly make an update. Then you just slide the second app away to get back to what you’re focusing on.
While checking the details of your lunch meeting in Daylite, you can slide in Maps to check the location and how long it will take you to get there.
Work faster with Multitasking
With Multitasking support for Daylite on the iPad, you will have the ability to do more without having to switch between apps. This new feature will open up new workflow possibilities to help you save time while you’re working on the go.

Please note that Multitasking support is only available on iPads with iOS 9 or later that support Multitasking. Slide Over is supported by iPad Pro, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air, and iPad Air 2. Split View is supported by iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4.
