Daylite Localized in German

Our Company / March 2, 2010 / Ryan

As previously mentioned, OSXpert will be presenting Daylite in the OS X Business Park at the CeBIT trade show show in Hannover, Germany, from 2nd to the 6th of March.

What we didn’t tell you was that they’d be showing off a localized version of Daylite in German for the first time.

Germany has always been a strong market for Marketcircle, even though our products haven’t been available in German. With the release of Daylite Touch (which has been available in German since day one) we had seen an increase in demand for a localized version of the Mac application – and so, we decided it was time.

Localization is being done in cooperation with OSXpert Limited, Marketcircle’s Regional Partner in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. OSXpert will support all Daylite users in these areas. All Daylite users will be notified by OSXpert directly once the localized version is available.

Localization has been and will be an ongoing process – we’ve started with the application, and will continue with things like the industry database templates, and other documentation, etc.

The first localized public beta of Daylite is scheduled for release in the next 4-6 weeks. The localized components will be available from OSXpert’s German Daylite website.

Send an e-mail to german@daylite.biz to be notified when it’s available.
